olive oil is a rich source of fat soluble vitamins A , D, K, E and polyphenols , which protect our bodies from certain types of cancer ( breast , endometrial , colon , prostate , etc . ) . Also due to the antioxidant action slows the aging of cells and increases the life cycle, supports proper functioning of the digestive system and improves skin health.
It plays a significal role in the development of the baby during pregnancy. The oil appears to have a favorable effect on bone calcification . It helps absorption of calcium and therefore plays an important role during the development and the prevention of osteoporosis .
